L’hippocketwifi est arrivée en moins d’une journée, mise en route parfaite et fonctionnement excellent…au début!! Le service de suivi (ceci dit reste en contact et est réactif). J’ai reçu un mail (indésirable) m’annonçant qu’il fallait que je change d’e-sim, que je n’ai pas vu puisque tout d’abord en vacances les indésirables c’est pas une priorité et parce que l’hippocketwifi ne fonctionnant plus, plus d’internet. Avec 6h de décalage horaire, et internet que le soir lorsque j’étais au logement, compliqué d’arranger le pb! Au final sur 15 jours, elle m’a été utile la première semaine seulement et ce qui m’agace vraiment c’est qu’ils ne proposent même pas d’eux même un remboursement. Alors non je ne la conseillerais pas et pour nous c’était le première fois et la dernière!!

Cost was WAY cheaper than using the travel plan on our phones for 4 people. This will be the only service I use when traveling in Europe.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had a great experience with our Hippo Pocket Wifi. We used this for 18 days while traveling across Italy, Greece, Turkey and several places in between. Easy delivery to our hotel and returned via prepaid mail envelope at the airport. This saved us HUNDREDS of dollars by not using our cellular data. We were on a cruise during the middle part of our trip and used it when we would be off the ship wifi. We did not have any issues being connected anywhere we went. Will definitely recommend and will use again!

It works great! Easy pickup and drop off. We were in France for two weeks trip and this pocket Internet works fantastically, there were some remote area we got weaker coverage but overall we are very satisfied. Highly recommended if you travel with a group.

Very convenient for our trip. Pocket wifi worked well throughout the trip in different cities in Europe with no issues, and was easy to use. Definitely bring a portable charger with you and the cable that connects to the portable wifi if you plan on being out all day since battery life is around 8 hrs or so. I also liked how it was mailed to us before our trip and then after our trip when we returned home to the US, we were able to mail it back with a prepaid envelope, so I did not have to remember to drop it off at an airport before leaving the country.

Short version: Excellent nomad wifi, with great customer service ! I am a French living in Japan, and client since 2017. Once again I used Hippocket Wifi this summer in various European countries. As usual, totally satisfied with the reliability: Transitioning between countries is seamless and I always had a powerful signal wherever. Either in French or German rural areas, Greek islands (And even on the ferries), in Czech Republic and Northern Europe. An essential tool on my trips, as I need good connections for working remotely. I will definitely continue using in future travels across Europe. With this review I also want to warmly thank and praise the whole Customer Care team! I had to use their customer service once and they were friendly and very helpful. The device worked perfectly in a couple of countries in Europe, including while hiking in the mountains.

Many would just pay their wireless company for international plans, but you don’t get wifi for your ipad or kindle with that. Everything was so easy! The 5G Pro unit was delivered to my hotel and was waiting for me when I arrived in Germany. Traveling with two teenagers who wanted to stay in touch with their friends and stream videos while we traveled from city to city made this worth while. Setup was painless and the signal strength throughout the trip was beyond excellent. The unit did not need to be recharged during the day if it was fully charged in the morning before we left our hotel. The return instructions were clear and very straightforward. I will definitely use this service again the next time I travel to Europe.

DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE- I wouldn’t even give 1 star honestly. I booked this for a 10 day trip and it hasn’t worked one day that it was supposed to. I’ve sent them pictures showing NO SERVICE and they refuse to refund so now I’ve paid for this service plus I’ve had to pay for another internet service all while having a scrambling start to my trip without any internet. Just stay away and get something else and save yourself some money and headaches. They give you some troubleshooting documents that didn’t work and when it shows I haven’t even used their service all week then apparently that doesn’t qualify for a refund. Such a ripoff.
