After reviewing several options for staying connected during our European vacation we decided on Hippocket Wifi. Affordable, easy to use and small in size, we found the unit indispensable. Connections were automatic and consistently fast. We even found occasional service while cruising off the coast of Spain and Portugal. Delivery was timely and most important their customer service team is responsive and cheerful; eager to answer your questions and address your concerns. We would definitely recommend Hippocket to anyone needing a reliable internet connection while traveling.

Invaluable for our trip across several European countries! The whole family got to know “Hippo” well throughout our travels. A few service interruptions but all explainable because of the location (e.g., in a tunnel), not a fault or deficiency of the Hippo. Overall would highly recommend.

Hippocket was amazing. We looked at other providers and chose to go with Hippocket because of what appeared to he a seamless service. It definitely was, we ordered and received our device well before our trip. When we arrived in Italy we turned it and connected our devices. Sending it back was just as seamless. We did lose connection once but received a text asking us to reboot the device which we did and it was solved straight away. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again when going abroad. It was perfect for the 5 of us with several devices.

I have been using the HIppocketWifi every year for a decade when I take international trips. I would NOT leave home without it. It is the easiest way to stay connected. You never have to deal with SIM cards. Also, their customer service is incredible. I can be anywhere in the world…and if I have a question, and I email them….they reply extremely fast with an answer. I have come to have complete faith in this product and their service. It is a very well run company.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had a great experience with our Hippo Pocket Wifi. We used this for 18 days while traveling across Italy, Greece, Turkey and several places in between. Easy delivery to our hotel and returned via prepaid mail envelope at the airport. This saved us HUNDREDS of dollars by not using our cellular data. We were on a cruise during the middle part of our trip and used it when we would be off the ship wifi. We did not have any issues being connected anywhere we went. Will definitely recommend and will use again!

Very convenient for our trip. Pocket wifi worked well throughout the trip in different cities in Europe with no issues, and was easy to use. Definitely bring a portable charger with you and the cable that connects to the portable wifi if you plan on being out all day since battery life is around 8 hrs or so. I also liked how it was mailed to us before our trip and then after our trip when we returned home to the US, we were able to mail it back with a prepaid envelope, so I did not have to remember to drop it off at an airport before leaving the country.

Short version: Excellent nomad wifi, with great customer service ! I am a French living in Japan, and client since 2017. Once again I used Hippocket Wifi this summer in various European countries. As usual, totally satisfied with the reliability: Transitioning between countries is seamless and I always had a powerful signal wherever. Either in French or German rural areas, Greek islands (And even on the ferries), in Czech Republic and Northern Europe. An essential tool on my trips, as I need good connections for working remotely. I will definitely continue using in future travels across Europe. With this review I also want to warmly thank and praise the whole Customer Care team! You can be proud to provide one of the best services I know in France. From the rental order to payment to shipment to general communications: Your dedicated care and professionalism are on par with the quality of services in Japan. Special thanks for acting lighting fast after the failure of the courier company on delivering the first letter pack!
