I got the unlimited 4g and the device needed to be reset often and got spotty connection the entire time I was in Italy. I was in Rome, Florence and Positano where it should have proper coverage but my phone constantly said no internet available from the device. I felt like I was constantly messing with it just to get it to work. I think it was probably working properly for maybe half the time I was there. I would use a different company or eSIM next time, this was definitely a hassle.

I reached out to Hippocketwifi at the recommendation of a friend for an international trip. I was hesitant at first however, that was short lived. The service was amazing and they were so helpful with getting me set up and understanding how to set it up for use internationally. I was able to set up the date that I wanted the device to arrive by which helped alleviate worries of it not arriving on time. I purchased the unlimited plan and let me tell you I used this all day, everyday of my trip without the worry of not being able to use maps or other app services. Upon return, a simple email requesting a return label, at their cost was easy. simply package up the item, affix the label and ship. I will definitely be using their services again.

HippocketWiFi is fantastic! It is delivered to your hotel before you arrive, it is easy too use. You can plug it into a car or recharge it in your hotel room. On foot I carried it in my purse. It is not heavy and you indeed have the internet in your pocket. Make reservations on the go, use What’s App, use maps, what ever you need. And it cost less than most daily telephone charges. It makes travel on your own so much easier!

I am happy with Hippocket Wifi. I would probably get the max speed next time. More details: Hippocket was delivered to my hotel in a very small town in the Scottish Highlands, either on time or early!! It worked very well almost everywhere except certain off the map places on the road / deep in nature in the Highlands… which I doubt any servicer would reach. Since we were on a road trip, it could get slower at times and for this reason I would have preferred max speed option. Overall I am pleased with the service and if I stuck to cities I am sure it would be even better.

This is the second Time I have rented from hippocket Wi-Fi. It worked great in every country, including Switzerland, which has notorious issues with phone systems being different. We were on a riverboat and had no problem when we were on the river. It’s the only way I would go. Much less expensive than using your phone company, plus no problems connecting wherever I was. You can use your phone on Wi-Fi calling, so you have all the features of your phone, plus you have an Internet that multiple people can use. I love that it was at the hotel when I arrived, and I could start using it immediately.

Ordered online from the US was delivered to my home prior to departure. Works great in various parts of Italy. Printed the return label when I return home to the US and mailed it. Super easy. FedEx did try and charge me for delivery in the US, but I had already prepaid it. Emailed FedEx and they took care of it dismiss the charges.

They are very responsive. When I had questions during the trip, they were always quick to reply to me.

Arrived at our hotel and was waiting for us. Worked great for 4 of us to use on our Germany trip. Just wish battery life could be longer but we got a good 7-8 hrs out of it and traveled with a portable battery pack.

Excelente servicio, no tengo un pero que ponerle. Excelente señal siempre, nos conectamos 5 personas durante 8 días y nunca notamos que la conexión fuera lenta. Navegación rápida y de muy fácil conexión en cuanto llegas al país para posteriormente conectarse automáticamente cada vez. Hay que llevar siempre el dispositivo encima y obviamente el que lo lleve no alejarse mucho del grupo pero me parecen cuestiones menores para el gran servicio que ofrece a los que no tienen un tlf compatible con una e-sim. Lo entregan en una funda muy bien protegido con el añadido del cargador y en mi caso un adaptador para EEUU que fue a donde viajé además tuvieron el detalle de incluir en el envío tres tarjetas sims en caso de que hubiera algún problema con él pocket WiFi. Sin duda muy recomendable y el trato con ellos por WhatsApp muy atento y siempre colaboradores a ayudar. Gracias
