Hippocket was amazing. We looked at other providers and chose to go with Hippocket because of what appeared to he a seamless service. It definitely was, we ordered and received our device well before our trip. When we arrived in Italy we turned it and connected our devices. Sending it back was just as seamless. We did lose connection once but received a text asking us to reboot the device which we did and it was solved straight away. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again when going abroad. It was perfect for the 5 of us with several devices.

You never have to deal with SIM cards. Also, their customer service is incredible. I can be anywhere in the world…and if I have a question, and I email them….they reply extremely fast with an answer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had a great experience with our Hippo Pocket Wifi. We used this for 18 days while traveling across Italy, Greece, Turkey and several places in between. Easy delivery to our hotel and returned via prepaid mail envelope at the airport. This saved us HUNDREDS of dollars by not using our cellular data. We were on a cruise during the middle part of our trip and used it when we would be off the ship wifi. We did not have any issues being connected anywhere we went. Very convenient for our trip. Pocket wifi worked well throughout the trip in different cities in Europe with no issues, and was easy to use. Definitely bring a portable charger with you and the cable that connects to the portable wifi if you plan on being out all day since battery life is around 8 hrs or so. I also liked how it was mailed to us before our trip and then after our trip when we returned home to the US, we were able to mail it back with a prepaid envelope, so I did not have to remember to drop it off at an airport before leaving the country.

As usual, totally satisfied with the reliability: Transitioning between countries is seamless and I always had a powerful signal wherever. Either in French or German rural areas, Greek islands (And even on the ferries), in Czech Republic and Northern Europe. An essential tool on my trips, as I need good connections for working remotely. I had to use their customer service once and they were friendly and very helpful. The device worked perfectly in a couple of countries in Europe, including while hiking in the mountains.

Everything was so easy! The 5G Pro unit was delivered to my hotel and was waiting for me when I arrived in Germany. Traveling with two teenagers who wanted to stay in touch with their friends and stream videos while we traveled from city to city made this worth while. Setup was painless and the signal strength throughout the trip was beyond excellent. The unit did not need to be recharged during the day if it was fully charged in the morning before we left our hotel. The return instructions were clear and very straightforward. I rented a Hippocket unit on a trip from Prague to Budapest. I don’t have phone service in Europe and primarily need wifi access to use Google Maps to navigate. The unit was waiting for me at the hotel desk as promised. The instructions were clear and it worked well throughout our 2-week trip. I slipped it in a mailbox in Budapest and received confirmation within a few days.

Used this device for our cruise that we did along the Mediterranean! Had it shipped to our hotel at the first port and then dropped it off at the Rome airport! Had some issues with connectivity and battery both of which make sense considering the highly crowded places we visited and the length of use of the device! Highly recommend using a portable charger! Also if dropping it off at the Rome airport, make sure you know where to drop off because it took us awhile to find. Great customer service and always willing to answer questions!

I have used their services 3 times already in Europe (and will continue to do so in my travels) and never had any issues. My friends were happy that we had a wifi while on the go.
