We have used Hippocketwifi since 2019 and love it. 10/10 Every trip we take you Europe this device is in our pocket. I prefer using the mifi device instead of finding SIM cards and trying to get the best deal in each city. The Hippocket data packages range from low to unlimited depending on your needs, so it’s customizable. Delivery to the USA is quick, easy and on time. They deliver about a week before your trip so you don’t have to stress about it at the last minute. Recently I had an issue with delivery in California and the resolution was incredible. Dara in customer service immediately responded to my email and set up a new delivery to my hotel in New York, she even called to hotel herself to be sure delivery was allowed. My issue was solved in two emails and was not stressful at all. It works all over Europe, we’ve never run into a connection issue. The battery holds a charge for the whole day of using maps, uploading to Instagram and google searching. The device itself is small and easy to carry in your purse or pocket. They provide you with a European charger also so you don’t need a US/ Europe adapter. When you land in a new city the device takes about two minutes to find the service carrier and then you’re up and running ready to explore, research and upload worry free. We have even uploaded full YouTube videos using the data with no problems. Returning the item is the easiest part. They send you a return envelope already pre paid! I have returned from UK, France, Portugal and the US, simply find the appropriate parcel box and you’re on your way. The return instruction will even tell you sometimes exactly what the box looks like and where you can/can’t drop it. ie: in London the airport mailboxes are too small you have to drop in the city boxes. I was on the fence regarding ordering this device or getting an eSim for my travels abroad I pulled the plug and Ordered the Hippocketwifi prior to my travels and had it delivered to my home. Upon arriving in the UK, turned the device on and NEVER had any issues with connection. Also took it to France and other parts of Europe with no interruption at all. I would not hesitate to order again for my next International trip.

They were extremely patient with me and helped me extend my rental while I dealt with a lot of the bureaucracy and red tape I needed to get wifi installed at my apartment. I highly recommend this pocket wifi for traveling throughout Europe. It held it’s charge all day and we had multiple devices connected to it while we roamed around. Their customer service is impeccable, super helpful and accommodating for requests and changes. Even when the pocket wifi got lost in the mail during the return, they were super communicative, patient, and understanding. It eventually made it back but took a few months because I sent it back from the United States when I definitely should’ve sent it back while still in Europe. Either way, I will absolutely use this pocket wifi again for our next trip to Europe.

We used the wifi in the UK, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland. In every country we landed, turned on the wifi and it just worked!

Easily one of the best decisions I made while planning our vacation to France. Having wi-fi with us, that everyone in our party could connect to was wonderful. I didn’t want to search/connect to random public wi-fi. This was seamless! Because the CDG pickup location was closed (not the fault of HPWF), they delivered it to my hotel. Sending it back was easy too in the provided envelope. I left it at our hotel’s front desk. I would absolutely use this service again and would recommend it to anyone looking to connect while in France.

I ordered a Hippocket wifi system from Canada and it was waiting for us in Lyon when we arrived at our hotel. The setup was simple, it functioned perfectly and was absolutely indispensable throughout France. The costs are reason and the speed was often far faster than we get in Canada. I would recommend it to any travellers who do not have a data plan that works in Europe in fact it was much cheaper than any roaming package we could have got from our Canadian telecom.
Too bad we don’t have a similar system in North America.
